i booted g900a partial firmware on g900v

the easiest way to do this on an unlocked bootloader in my opinion is to flash this rom kltevzw ni2 romhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/development/tw-kitkat-4-4-4-nha-rom-9-13-t2875815 in twrp
and a kitkat kernel http://ift.tt/2daKYmf a kitkat kernel

then download g900a nce kitkat firmware from sammobile.com
make a full twrp backup
put the firmware on your phone then make sure these apps installed and updated flashfire app supersu app and busybox app
open flashfire app then click flash firmware and let it check the md5
then once its done checking md5 choose only system then click checkmark
make sure inject supersu is checked
i also flashed supersu 2.76 zip
then click flash
it will bootloop at att logo
so i booted into twrp and then clicked wipe and did the wipe factory reset aka data,cache,dalvik
then it will boot
text call work i can't test data i don't have a data plan
root works yeah!

if you are bootloader locked dont do this till i test it i will post bootloader locked specific instructions later today
