Tmobile variant only Samsung keyboard continuous input stops working

I read online that tmobile variant note 7 has issues with Samsung keyboard. This issue usually happens when I erase something in a browser url/ search bar. The predictive text bar disappears from the keyboard and continuous input (swipe) stops working, forcing me to input letter by letter

Anyone got any ideas?
