[Q] Need help finding the value of a randomly generated number and change it.

The app I want to change generates a random number everytime you finish a game. I want to find it and change it. But the thing is that searching for the exact value doesn't find it. Tried finding the unknown value, increasing and decreasing as the number changed but my simple minded mind can't figure it out.
